Let me correct some info I posted here. After speaking with one of the people involved with these two new products, he informed me that only the SW version called Pro Shot is rebuildable. The True Coat Pro is NOT rebuildable and has a life span of 50 gallons. To put that into perspective, you spray approximately a quart per day for a year then toss it. If that fits in with your blue usage, you get a pretty versatile package. Chris, a lot depends on what coatings you use. If you use chlorinated paints, do not use aluminum. Most electric paint sprayers have aluminum wetted parts. This can be a real safety risk as the results could be explosive with shrapnel involved. The waterbornes with 1952-d (fast drys) may not like the non-stainless or non e-nickel wetted parts which could lead to plugging, internal build up, and downtime.
Jim, that P/N is a Euro part. That is why I did not go chasing it. From what I hear it was made for a specific application (maybe the video shown), is constructed of stainless steel, very few are made (and sold), and thus the exorbitant price. At one time, Line Tech in Niagara Falls Canada was making something similar, they may still. I agree, with the comments, I'd stick to a second gun kit and keep my money in my pocket.
