PLSIC™ did not start in a boardroom. It started on job sites, sitting on top of a line driver, and behind the counter at 1-800-STENCIL, where the founder spent years selling equipment and stencils to contractors across the country.

Those conversations were consistent. The contractors were skilled, experienced, serious about their work. The market did not see it that way. Property managers hired on price because they had nothing else to evaluate quality by. Low-ball operators undercut established businesses because there was nothing to distinguish them. Working crews showed up to jobs where no written spec existed, and the only benchmark was whether the paint stayed inside the lot.

Parking lot striping has been treated as an afterthought for decades. Subcontracted out. Rarely specified. Almost never inspected against a written standard. PLSIC exists to change that. The roadmap below shows where we have been, where we are, and where we are headed.
