That model rocket sound? It wasn't a bad joke or a secret slam even. And I believe this post could save someone the trouble and possibly injury. My "too lazy to clean the machine" could have cost me dearly. The return line or bypass hose whatever you want to call it was partially plugged last night, for those unfamiliar with a Titan they have a rubber hose with a metal pipe long enough to fit down into the pail/hopper. Anyway, that thing finally coughed that partial plug out of there around the speed of light, hard to tell as it blasted past my head, spraying paint at equal to or greater than speed. Lucky it missed me, and as it did a vision flashed thru my mind. The sound of those little model rockets blasting off, and if the return line wasn't attached to the machine I doubt I would have ever seen it again.

Striped, Ken probably meant me, it's an old standing joke on this forum from years back about me being an Ola mother hubbit with me cleaning the outside of the machines! Really! It's very sad and I'm saving up hard to get professional help! I even spray the the petrol tanks white after I have removed the paint! Me staff have learned to tolerate it, but it still gets mentioned every Friday at after works drinks where they have great pleasure in taking the Mickey out a me! Ken sends me pics of his machines and his little inventions and I show me staff them and they all look at the pics with the expression off why can't he be our boss! His machines look normal!
Normal to me and only a few others, Wend. Just got my report card on the EXPO's "Striping Tips"..... (BTW Had 95% good/excellent ratings). One of the few "critiques" was ... Ken's machines looked dirty therefore not very professional (Probably from written by Randy). Personally, I think they exhibit just the opposite.... lots of hard work i.e. professionally used.

Just like old doctors, the more blood on the shirt the better doctor he was
Straightline - Your comment about doctors and blood on their shirts brought back memories of a Saturday Night Live episode with Steve Martin playing the role of a medieval doctor and his only cure for whatever ailed you was "blood letting". Dirty striping machines are OK with me but I prefer my MD's with clean shirts.
