Kia Ora! greetings from New Zealand, A big thankyou to all the contributors to this forum,I'm learning heaps really quickly. I'm sitting on the side lines over here thinking hard about starting up in the striping business and needing a good machine. Prices over here are huge so im wondering about getting a machine 2nd hand from the states. Are there any reputable 2nd hand dealers in airless striping machines? Can you recommend a good machine, a trusty steed to look out for? Do you have an equipment review section hiding anywhere? Where can i get a copy of the stripers bible?

The stripers bible is a free online book, you can read it here. http://parkinglotstriping.info/

Try eBay, but like already said the shipping may kill you.

If your going to save money by purchasing a machine here in the states, and shipping costs are the same, why not just spend a little more and buy a new machine. You said you were thinking about starting a striping business. It might just be the best money you ever spent, since you could spend your time getting and doing work instead of repairing an old machine after a month. Plus, the brand new Graco's are SO much nicer and more user friendly than the old ones.

I'll 2nd Striping Fools thoughts...I currently have two used machines that I feel I am always trying to fix...should have just gone for new...or it could be user error but if they were new I would have the support of the dealer....good luck

I agree. better to go new don't be penny wise & pound foolish... your equipment & materials suppliers will be very valuable resources to you.
