I think Ken(///Stripes///) was working on getting some down here. You might try him. I get my concrete wheel stops from All-star Concrete up on Golden Triangle and I35W in north Fort Worth. He's behind the XXX video store...REALLY! Jeff mitchell [phone removed] is the owner, super nice guy. I've been buying from him for years. He keeps a good stock of hex and half rounds and he'll deliver.

I dont know which is worse, putting down the heavy concrete stops and drilling two holes or putting down the rubber ones and dirlling 4 holes.

We have the Xpotential curb stops in Texarkana, Tx. We can deliver to the DFW area in the 16 foot trailer load (around 75) or can arrange for truck load quantities or you can pick them up here. These only have two holes and weigh 74 lbs each. We also have landscape timbers and the 6 x 6 x 8 cross ties. These can be viewed at http://xpotentialproducts.com . These use to be available from Universal Forest Products and have been used by some of you in the Dallas area for several years.

What's worse, is removing the plastic ones, from a concrete lot, that have been set with spikes(intended for asphalt applications) instead of lag bolts. Biggest mistake on a bid last year. I quoted like $5.00 a piece for removal, thinking they had been set with bolts. The spikes were in so tight that we had to cut the plastic stops with a skill saw and cut the spikes off at the ground with a grinder. We tried and bent BIG pry bars. They might have come up with a forklift or bobcat. But we didn't have one handy. Talk about TEDIOUS!!!

No problem JimJack...I was only kidding...I'm not trying to pull the wool over anybodies eyes...I had one person who contacted me privately about the 3300 and asked if I experienced any problems...I told him the few things I experienced and never heard back...as I've said before I think most of my problems are user error but when I get the machines shooting paint overall I am happy...my biggest complaint like you is service...I had to take mine to NC to be serviced and unlike you I had a positive experience...if I don't sell my machines I will use them next year and when I make enough to buy a new one I will...this is my first year concentrating on striping and this year I treated it like a hobby and it treated me like a hobby...I plan to put a little effort into making it a business next year...it will still be a part-time business but I know it can be a very profitable part-time business...last year I met a retired cop who left the force to stripe full-time after 20yrs leaving a good chunk of his pension on the table...he told me he doesn't regret it and striping paid for his house, kids college. etc...I probably won't go that route but paying for my house and kids college sounds good!! Jim, I don't believe so. I just spoke with a rep from their company who wants me to bid on a Home Depot for them. Sounds like a NSP. I am doing further research into their company, but wanted to know if anyone had done business with them before.
