Just had a potential customer send me this list of questions http://www.allaboutparkinglots.com/estimate-request-check… Made my head want to explode. I appreciate people doing their homework, but this was just too much and felt like some fear mongering garbage that makes us all sound like dishonest criminals. Anyone ever heard of his warning about chlorinated? The guys at Diamond Vogel thought I was crazy when I asked them about it.

I wish every bid I gave wanted to run through this list of questions, or most of the questions. It would weed out most of the crooks giving low bids and my sales would go up. Cleaning every line with a wire brush?? Really?

That allaboutparkinglots keeps trying to get me to pay them to become a member. Its such a scam. Do they actually check to see if the contractor is any good or just take money from them to put them on their list. Also is that true about CR?

Quote Some contractors will use Chlorinated paint. The problem with Chlorinated paint is that the next time you need to re-stripe your parking lot, no other paint will stick to Chlorinated paint and will flake off easily and quickly. Well, that is a lie. One, you would be hard pressed to find chlorinated paint now days and now all paint sold as chlorinated rubber is just alkyd with chlorinated rubber as an additive. Two, chlorinated rubber is not the same as vulcanized rubber used for tires or sealers, other paints will stick to it. This whole website looks like something from the church of Poopy Joe.

I know years ago He talked me into filling out the paper work he said he had a ton of jobs in my area. I filled it out sent it in and I was approved. To my knowledge he never checked anything. I decided not to do it and never sent payment. I figured I would just be paying for work I would have gotten anyway if he did not have a website in my area

This is the Asphaltkingdom.com guy. check out his Utube.com videos. He knows nothing about asphalt. I think he probably got most of his info from Don Turner.
