Does anyone know what are the steps to put down epoxy on top of an epoxy floor? I guess what I am really asking is do I need to sand off the epoxy floor or can I just lay new epoxy paint on top of 2 week old epoxy paint?

It will not bond well. I would not say chip off, but we worked behind a company at a nuclear plant years ago and pulled it up in sheets about three ft wide by six to seven ft long. Granted it had to be applied 32 mils think, but second coat was applied weeks after first coat because they ran out of material and skipped the prep work needed when material when it arrived.
Thanks Cheney for you input, I am going to have to apply the Epoxy without having to scuff it. The Owner said he just wants a layer of epoxy striping on top of existing epoxy. I mentioned to him that I would have to charge him a biot extra for labor and materials to scuff but he rather just save the money and take his chances. The stripes are 6" wide. So I hope it'll stay for a while.
they are providing me with an epoxy that has the label "For Marine Use" I dont know if this paint will suffice, Yet I already applied it and I had to do two coats. It looks alright, didnt take much time to roll it on, the brand of the epoxy was Coronado.
