Removing and disposing of the old ones might cost more than the new installation. Do you have a place to put the old ones? New parking curbs seem to range from $30 - 75. I charge $15 to pull up and haul off an old bumper. You can chunk them in a dumpster, but 181 might draw attention.

Check with a local asphalt plant, as many have crushers and accept concrete and asphalt to be crushed and recycled. plants around here in Utah charge anywhere from $1.50 -$10 per ton, depending on what you are bringing in. We charge anywhere from $15-25 for removal and disposal per block. If any are in good condition, and you have the space you might keep a few, we have a small pile in our yard of used blocks that we paint and re-sale at a discounted rate compared to new, it works great for people needing only one or two.

I had been taking mine to the local landfill. They charge by the cubic foot. They really just kinda eyeball the load. I believe it was like $45.00 for a 6x12 dump trailer. I'd say you could probably get 40-50 to a load. the trick is getting the old ones in the trailer. After much thought about the best way to do it. I decided that it would be best to remove all the old stops first. When the new stops arrive, :-*beg/bribe the delivery guy to use his forklift/donkey to put the old ones in your dump trailer. If you have your own forklift you'll have a little more flexibility. Another option for disposal is the "fill dirt wanted" areas. Be sure and check first , some places differ on what they take. I lucked out and found a guy who takes anything, except trash and brush As far as what to charge, get as much as you can. I always get that "Is that the best you can do???" response. I kindly ask them " Have you ever picked one of these things up?". That usually stops their whining. Honestly, I usually charge double what I pay for my stops (my vendor delivers for free within reasonable a distance) If he has to charge for delivery, I pass it on to the customer. For disposal I wouldn't go less than $10 each. Good luck, Dwayne
