For some reason when I am spraying parking lots I am getting a lot of over spray causing almost a 3D effect, I have adjusted the pressure on my speedflo wondering if there is something I am doing wrong, your help will be greatly appreciated

Try a different brand of paint before blaming it on the machine.

We left Sherman Williams for that reason and price.

Our experience has been that the oil based paints tend to "fog" or overspray. Try a Chlorinated rubber like Ennis. Little to no fogging in our experience.

It's either bad paint, or you are thinning it too much. You machine moves fluid, it doesn't control the viscosity of the paint.

Worn tips? Ditto... used SW w/SpeeFlo for years crsp/sharp use titan brand tips, unless they changed they make a cleaner edge (nobody would notice but the striper) than Gracos, but that was then-nowadays may be no difference but depending on the paint & amount sprayed.... I have gone through 2 tips in a day easy. Try new tips or different sizes first (and be sure the tip is the correct distance from the pavement for the tip size.)

there are different grades of sherwin williams oil based paints. the lower end stuff will fog, the type we use does not fog at all. also make sure whatever you are using is well stirred.

titan tips blow, I have prolly 10 or 12 still in pkgs that I wont use, bad edges, graco are far superior, but you do get an occasional bad one there too

Not only are there 3 different grades of each, but each grade has 3 different prices depending on ......well....who knows? They are just plain horrible to deal with in this area! So I choose not to deal with them anymore. "COVER THE EARTH" yeah, I could cover the earth with price changes alone!

paint is too thin, also use graco tips titan tips do a terrible edge, use a 217 or 219 or 317 or 319. I perfer the 2s that way the line width doesnt vary
