All depends. if the preacher is wearing ten pounds of gold, he gets to pay full price.

We are really fair with the pricing on most churches (Except the ones that believe that they'll have 72 virgins waiting for them for getting rid of the great satan. We price them at 2x normal rates). We normally charge all others at about 15% less than normal. They are also tax exempt. Domingo

Are you talkin about the fast food chicken place or the organized religion retailers?

Never met a church that couldn't afford full price. Met a bunch that thought I owed them something. I like to remind them that my business is NOT tax exempt, while THEIRS is.....

just don't lie to them and do the job the right way. The man will be watching his house..

Regular price but no added frustration factor that is usually added to other jobs. Churches are easy, unless you show up Sunday morning. Then you allmost have to give a sermon to get everyone to move. I thought he meant Church's Fried Chicken too at first. We have one that's part of a shopping center and I have never seen so much grease in my life. Funny thing is that the nastiest place on the job is under the drive thru window. Yuck.

A church is a business just like any other. Good point about their tax exempt status.

I donate all my labor to my church. They pay for materials. All other churches are regular price and I figure I don't need to tithe to a church I don't even belong to.

As above I have done a couple of church jobs for free, small churches that really couldn't afford it, just for the goodwill and to "help out" (these were the "poor" type churches with volunteer pastors that were feeding & clothing people etc. a worthy cause) Usually all churches get a "best price". Not just because they are churches but usually they are so easy, the parking lot is empty and it's a quick & easy job that as mentioned above pays quickly. Also if they feel they are getting a discount or "special" something remember all the people who go there. Many may be businessmen or property owners that will turn to you later from the exposure. I also agree with the 10 lbs of gold comment, if it's one of those kind-of "churches" it's a different story. For me it kind-of depends on all the above circumstances.

Labor and materials donated. I get it back 10 fold.

I gave all churches 10 percent off as the lots where usually empty except for staff and they would quickly move vehicles so I could keep going. They paid fast and never had a complaint and usually got another job from some business owner that belonged to that church that needed striping.
