Thats right 58 years ago today, the Lovely and Talented Dwan Hall from Joo Know?, Alaska, started down to the slippery slope to where he is today. Dwan was raised by a family of Kodiak bears, who taught him many useful things about....being a bear (he knows what the woods are for). When he was 12 he spent a summer building the Alaska Pipeline and completed it just in time to save America from oil starvation. He took the money he earned from that and bought a fishing boat and in two seasons singlehandedly depleted the Alaskan King Crab fishery. Unfortunately he lost money on that, as he ate up all the profits. So he switched to fishing for the sheets of marine plywood we call halibut, but grew tired of having the cat population of Joo Know? follow him everywhere he went and he found out that no matter how you cooked halibut....it still tasted like halibut. He got married to a gorgeous lady with a snowplow and well...the rest is history. They made a fortune plowing Joo Know?'s 4" annual snowfall, spent their summers sunbathing in the 6 minutes of Joo Know?'s daily summer sunlight allotment, and generally raised a lot of h3ll on Alaska's wildlife. Around Joo Know? Dwan is known as the voice on the Coast Guard tapes saying "hey you #$@!'ing idiot, the tanker lane is over there, what are you, #@%'ing drunk?" in a radio call to Captain Joe on the Exxon Valdez. To say Dwan has had an interesting life would be an understatement.... Happy Birthday Dwan!
