looking for experiences and reviews from anyone that uses this setup... Dreaming of auto layout and laser combination that will allow me to hang up the chalk line and tapes.. Of course the biggest plus for me right now would be the one man operation aspect..

There are a some videos out on YouTube on this laser guidance system. I have been thinking about using this as well. I am currently a one man show on small jobs. I measure and snap chalk line by myself. When I am doing a large job I have a guy that helps me. He and I snap or layout an area and then I start painting that area while he continues to snap and layout areas. I believe they are going to be at the Pavement Expo.
I posted this last summer on one of the other threads. Check out this video of us using a laser yesterday. This was Dillon's first day on a striping machine. He painted perfectly straight lines. We used shingles as training wheels for his starts and stops so he could focus on painting straight lines. I have these lasers on 3 of my striping machines and they can make a new guy paint like he's been doing it for years. If you do any layout work at all, the lasers are amazing time savers. No more chalk lines! There's a little bit of a learning curve but the $$ spent are worth every penny. Add it to a striper with auto layout and one man can layout and paint a large lot fast. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YB1rqgwNAdc
