Do you use the pointers or do you have them for new helpers?? Just curious?

Newbies. I just bought a new 3400 just for training. My 3900's all have drivers and I think it would be easier if they didn't have to concentrate on the driver speed, starts, stops and aiming etc. So for right now I would like to have a pointer for a 3400 or 3000.

I just use soft copper tubing, and vise grips.

my pointer consists of 2 hose clamps and a bent piece of threaded rod....3 bux at home depot for the whole setup.

I have 2 or three of them laying around that came with the machines. I have my own home made pointers that I like to use. I wouldn't mind getting rid of them, where are you located?
