Wow, that is a stout mounting bracket! Take some of the vibes out with the heft of the unit? Pics of the mount I use are in the gallery. This mount was more garage project oriented and IMO an easy build for the average mechanically inclined person. The laser bracket in the pic gallery is temporary mounted to a bar and gun mount clamp, it should give a general idea of how it is mounted. piece of angle iron piece of round bar handle bar mount for a motorcycle mirror CB antenna mount for a towing mirror assortment of plastic and steel washers gasket material. The CB antenna mount on the handlebar of the machine with a short piece of round bar bolted to it (drill & tap the ends) and the angle bolted to the other end. The motorcycle mirror mount bolted on top of the angle. The laser is fit in the mirror mount. I use bolts, washers and locking nuts with various plastic washers and gasket material to minimize vibration, plastic dampened better than rubber washers etc. This is simple, within reach and is used instead of chalklines on nearly 100% of my layouts. I am currently working on a trigger switch that would activate the laser a split second before the paint, that way you only have the light on when necessary, save batteries and minimize crowd gatherings.
