How much are we worth?

As an employee, a company couldn't pay me what I believe I am worth. I would have to get at least $50/hr with benefits, a fuel card and a company truck. And that $50/hr would assume a year around work schedule rather than seasonal. When I am on a normal job, I am usually able to gross around $200/hr in revenue earned for my company. At almost 50 years old, I have never had a younger (or older) trainee able to keep up with me except for my partner.
thats fairly accurate.

Viewpoints aside any commodity is worth what someone else is willing to pay. Randy is close to the point in that the value in a capitalist system (sorry BTS) is measured by the profit that you can generate for the company. Guess that's why most of us run our own companies.
