I took delivery of my new Graco 3900 this afternoon and it is one lean, mean, striping Cadillac of a machine. I just can't believe it is so nice compared to (dare I say it here) my Trusco-like machine. I feel like I've graduated from middle school straight to the major leagues. This will make my business sooooo much more productive. I'm sorry. Am I gushing?? I'm just in awe of this machine and its capabilities. I've been striping my driveway with water all afternoon and plan on using it thursday on a job. Wish me luck and give me more pointers if you can. Thanks ACE

C'mon Stripes don't kill my spirit. LOL The lazyliner will come in due time. Just let me enjoy my glorious new machine for a while. I'm looking over the Graco Bucks form and had a question or two. Do I need the Rac X Switchtips or Rac 5 tips? Is the Light kit helpful and worth the $180 Graco bucks? What about the 15 gal. hopper? Does it make doing big lots that much easier? Thanks to everyone here, ACE

Ace, the 15 gallon hopper was my 3rd best investment, 1st was a 200hs, sencond was a 3900. I use my 15 gal hopper daily, I only remove it for cleaning, and when I do I just install my other 15 gal hopper. A great purchase.

I agree, the hopper is a great add on, but I would be carefull if your pushing and not riding. It will add considerable weight when full and could be a problem if your pushing on hilly terrain. The light is light.

Ace, A striping machine to a parking lot striper is like what a hoe is to a gardener (not ho, Chip). Combining a Lazy Liner with the striping machine is like the gardener using a tractor instead of a hoe. There is that much difference.
