I already have some ideas from looking at and using other setups and now looking to building a small to moderate size pressure washer truck that is capable of being easily removed if needed. So now how big (gallon size) water tank can I put on a pickup truck? I am thinking about maybe 250/ 300 gallons because of the weight of the water and also the dimensions of the tank fitting into the bed between the wheel wells. Now onto the hose question: What is the max length of pressure hose should I get ? I am thinking about at least 200 ft ? What is the max length of the water hose to refill the tank I should get ? I am thinking around 100 ft ? Now I know I will need hose reels with an electric motor so to wind up the hoses with ease. So anyone have any ideas they would like to share ?

Should get one business started good before going into another. No one lives where you do, only you can figure out what you will need.

200 feet is a lot of hose to drag around

I'd just buy the popular steam unit from Northern. It has wheels so it can be moved. You'll just need a water supply if used mobile. Sometimes it can cost more than it's worth to build one. Buying one you also get a warranty.

The northern tool pressure washer with the single axle trailer is perfect for stripers.

I'm with nc. I hate pressure washing. My old dogs don't bark as much. If you can rig a pressure washer up on a line driver......that might create less hate in my body.....

We are equipped with a hotsy trailer unit. It is the best way unless you have a truck dedicated for PW. Even then if the truck breaks down your screwed. That is why I like the trailer. We use 180-200 degree water which helps loosen alot especially gum. No electric hose reel is necessary a manual one works fine. Surface cleaners work better than the wands for brightening up the concrete. 200' of garden hose just in case. owner or GC should supply water. Water is heavy so either get a trailer that can hold the weight or transport the unit with little to no water in the tank. 100' of pressure hose is best. Depending on method 5000sq' will take about 500-700 gals of water. always start full and try to keep it as full as possible till you are almost done. Judge the amount of water you will need to finish and try finish with under 1/4 tank. My tank has a drain valve installed to drain the tank quick. We run a 700gal tank with 2 units.
