Ive been having a hard time making every line perfectly straight when I use the ll , especially when there is a bump, I noticed that the hitch was somewhat loose and tightened it up yesterday and viola! back to perfect lines again. that thing has been loose for quite a while , it wasnt as tight as I made it yesterday when I bought it new, I tightened it up until there was zero slack , any tighter and it wouldnt close. It sure made a giant difference.

There is a nut under the coupling that can be adjusted so it fits the ball. Usually you can turn it with just your fingers. The balls can vary a little in size and when switching between multiple machines may need adjusting. Our yellow machine never tracked as well as the other two and after reading this post found it was loose on that ball. The other two machines it fit snug on. Going to see if can find another ball that is more consistant with the other two machines. Thanks Skimike, would have never thought of that.
if you can get all of that slack out they will handle much better and track straighter, all of my balls are the same brand so only 1 adjustment was needed. 12:01 its the coupler that goes over the ball , put it on the ball and tighten it up with a 3/4 end wrench as tight as you can get it and it still open and close
