Buy any kind of 12 v light that has a squeeze clamp. (You can retrofit a 120v drop light from Auto Zone with a 12v bulb.) Take two alligator clips and put them on the two ends of the two wires that go to the light. Clip them onto the battery posts... voila! The queeze clamp lets you mount the light anywhere you want. Caution! Never make a mistake in polarity when connecting the battery. The rectifier will fry instantly. They are expensive.
