When we come over I'd like to buy a cheap mobile phone with out a contract to receive calls from my staff in NZ if I bring mine apparently it works out really expensive as I will be paying both ends with global roaming. Can I buy these at the airport?

would this work over there? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Mobile-phones/Vodafone-network/M… actually I've just read it it has no charger, walmart it is!
Wend - buy a Tracfone or any prepaid wireless fone when you get here - all available without a contract and you can buy extra minutes online or in convenience stores. All the best drug dealers & terrorists use them.....so don't get caught talking on one in an airport carpark while carrying a suspicious bag... ...unless you just like the occasional strip-search... Criminals call them "burners" as you can throw them away when you are done with them. About US$20-US$80
