I also posted this on NPCA. But most of us bounce back between the two because of the wealth of info. I have a Cimline 100 gallon melter that I have a problem with. It keeps blowing the main fuse that feeds power to the control box. I have had it to a Cimline dealer but they have been unable to fix it. The last information I have was that they believed that it was getting a surge from the propane motor that powers the hydraulics causing the fuse to blow. I got the unit back and figured that Id just put the propane firing aspect of the unit on its own battery. It still blows the fuse after about 10 seconds or less once its turned on. Just the burner portion, not even starting the motor. According to the dealer Cimline doesnt have any idea what the problem might be and is of no help. Im at the point where it might be cheaper to just put a while new control panel etc. on the unit. My question is has anyone experienced such a problem if so how did you fix it. Also does anyone have an old propane unit out there that is wrecked etc that they are willing to sell the control box off from? Any help is appreciated. Ive been pulling my hair out on this one I havent got much left. Thanks in advance Mike
