A great new "member's only" benefit is our disability and accident insurance program underwritten by A.I.G. and available nationwide. This insurance is simple to apply for and obtain, designed especially for our members. This is great coverage if you are injured or disabled by an accident on the job and even has reduced benefits if you are "off the job". It also contains a death and survivor's benefits and is available to members and employees of their companies. At present info is only available in our member's only forums but will soon be linked to from the site (it's great additional coverage even if you have other insurance and the cost as a group policy is extremely low for the amounts of benefits. ALSO: We are proud to say our search volume to date has tripled over the same period last year! since Consumer Reports May issue had an article about pavement scams and listed our site as a way to find reputable contractors. (We want to note there was some pricing in the article, the ASMA was also a source for the article and those "averages" were furnished by them, we would never say $X was an "average" price for any service) This is our best exposure yet in 4 consecutive years of national magazine exposure. If you know someone (especially a paving or sealcoating contractor, but all types of business people read it too) that has been putting off joining now's the time! Discounts on initial dues are still available in some under-represented markets for all types of services. AND if you are a member and refer someone who joins; 3 months will be added to your current membership period! This has shattered all previous search records through this time of year even though they have increased each year for 6 years, and is undoubtedly the best year ever for our members. Two more great reasons NPCA membership doesn't cost...it pays
