This has been addressed several times already. Robert is working to find a host who will restore the "old" PLP forums for viewing purposes. This should have been a one or two day deal easily accomplished by the former host who still has the old forum intact on their server, however they have not responded to his requests. It is his intention to make the old forum available for viewing and reference at least for 6 months or more. However it will be an "archive" and you will not be able to post there . So if you have a question that was "in progress" and not answered on the old system (everyone was notified of the pending change well in advance this would happen, so there shouldn't be many, if any) you may want to re-post the question here for further clarification or answers. In the history of the forums, first on RobertLiles.com and then on PLP it seems that topics always tend to repeat themselves every 6-12 months since new visitors find it easier to "post" that to use the search function to see if their question has already been answered. So the "archive" will probably only remain for 6-12 months, especially since it will be costing Robert for another host for an inactive web site just for reference. The delay (since his former host is not cooperating) is in finding a host that can handle the old forum software which is outdated and the company that made it is no longer in business ( it requires a host that is "backward compatible" kind-of like if you wanted to run Windows 98 on a new computer.)

I am still working on getting the old forum back up, but i did put up the "archives". These are posts from an even older forum that a forum member saved and put into categories. There's a link to them on the PLP Home Page: www.parkinglotplanet.com
