Does anyone know if you can buy a "pick up hose" (black heavy gauge hose on 3900) at a parts store... The cost from Graco is 115.00 for this 4 foot hose... Seems pretty high for a rubber hose... If this is some type of super rated rubber that only graco makes then i can see the benefit, but if this is something that can be purchased at an auto parts store i will probably save about 75.00... thanks, Ryan

Give Jessie a call at Silverado Repair [phone removed]. He replaced one of mine with a hose that is red in color. I accidentally left MEK in a machine for a week and it ate the pump innards.) It appears it was cut to length and has plain-ol hose clamps on both ends. It works is holding up to solvents (MEK) just fine.

All the hose is a lined Hydraulic hose. Its available from any hydraulic hose store. The hose is not cheap but not the expensive. Jim

I pay 6 bucks for a 4 foot piece fromFlyn-mar rubber and plastics. They are in Holyoke, MA. Its the same hose but they sell it in red not black. I keep a few in my truck. I change them a few times a year. Dont over pay

SW priced me one for $80 and said that was their cost plus 15%. That's still high for a four foot hose.

I bought one from a local paint company. Farrell- Calhoun (Memphis, TN) for $40.00. The specs. for the hose for a 3900 is 43 inches long, 1 inch inside diameter and 1.45 inch outside diameter. It is a nylon tube with a black synthetic jacket rated at 200 psi. If you but one make sure it is a none collapseable hose. The number to Farrell-Calhoun is [phone removed]. Ask for Kelly.
