I installed four speed bumps back in April of 2003 for one of my customers. He called me the other day and said the ends are raised up. I went and looked and sure enough the 12 inch nails rise up and down as you stand on them. Does anybody have any ideas to fix this??? Greatly appreciated all answers.

Use anchor type bolts that expand when tightened.

Were these the polyethylene or the rubber speed bumps? I have not used the poly bumps, but have seen many that did not hold up to sunlight and traffic.

they don't hold up well to kids that like to do "burn outs" on them either

I would agree with Ken ...except I'm sure you didn't use 12 inch nails in concrete, so I would assume it's asphalt, and after 2 years, I would call that normal wear and tear. I'd find a bigger anchor, re-install the ends and charge a maintenance fee!!!
