Tomorrow morning I am going to attempt to replace the prime valve on my 3900 IV. I was looking at it and I don't see how to remove it. Any tips or suggestions? Thanks!

There is a little pin you pop out in the plastic switch that you turn to prime the machine. Then take the switch off and there is a piece you can turn with an end wrench that is your prime valve. At least I think I go it all right it has been a while

That's correct. Knock out / push the pin out of the plastic handle covering the valve. Then you have access to the prime valve. Simply unscrews if I remember correctly.

I've got it off and the new one screwed in. Fits just fine. They are different though. The one that was on there before was a lot smaller. The one that I had ordered is a bit bigger and uses a screw instead of the pin to hold the plastic. This came from Graco directly. Is it possible that I have the wrong one or did Graco change it at one point or another?

They changed it on there 2013 models or right around that time
