I do alot of new contruction, and I use it all the time for angle parking. I just lay the protractor down next to my mark at the top of the space and strike my chalk line next to it so the angle is right on. Yes I still chalk line ... guess I am not as good as some of you who just mark top bottom and shoot.
I am not saying we can point and shoot on angles, we dont, we check them all, we just use the small metal contractors angle rather than the plastic parking lot protractor from PTM, nothing against it, its actually really cool, my guys just like the small one better.
we have a interlocking light aluminum protractor we can set it to the full length and full width and angle of any stall, we spray beside it. If there is two of you with one moving the protractor one spraying its really really quick. You only have to measure your total area from curb to curb set the protractor and your off, none of this running your bottom string line to get your stalls even, marking the top then the bottom on angles, then flicking your chalkline down or string line for spraying next to.
