I'm in the Northeast, I have to restripe a running track. My stencils just happen to lign up with the existing ones, (first time that ever happened) What would be a reasonable charge for the track? I have touched them up before but never painted a entire one. Thanks, Jon

Did I hear someone say my name? You should use about 20 gallons of white for the lane lines and 5 gallons of colors for the exchange zones and hurdle markings. A person new to track striping may take 8 to 10 hours to paint with a three person crew including cleaning. You should blow the entire track off prior to painting. We always string the straight-a-ways lines to ensure a perfectly straight lines. Start on the back side first just in case. If for what ever reason you can't paint a line without wiggles, pack up and head back to the barn. You can get away with some curvy lines on a parking lot but not on a running track. If you are not sure of the type of track surface, always use a high quality acrylic (latex paint). The price to repaint an 8 lane track around here (NW) would be about $2,000 to $2,500.00. Best of luck. Feel free to ask if you have any more questions.

Thank you Ware-ever. I don't make a habbit of discussing pricing, but I appreciate your assistance. Have a great season!
