I have a warehouse job lined up right away to stripe walkway lines one that I have striped in the past but this time the customer asked if I could put a clear coat over the lines to help them last longer due to forklift traffic. I have not found anything that any supplier would recommend to use, I am wondering what might be out there that I could use. The main issue that my customer has is the lines turning black from the forklift tires.

I know what you mean. If you have at least a twelve hour window, warm temperatures and plenty of ventilation, I have always had good luck with Sherwin Williams Armoseal-Rexthane I Clear floor coating. Its a little over $100 per gallon. You can clean off the dirt with damp mop and detergent unlike a uncoated line. The black tire marks may still cause a problem but they can be washed off and they do not look as bad on the clear coat. You could also one coat of a high gloss yellow enamel but I couldn't speak to its longevity. Another option would be a one or two part epoxy. Great results but a little harder to work with and definitely needs a long dry time to set up. Good luck with the project
they guys at Transpo have a clear MMA ask for the no track, its going to be pretty expensive, 60.00 to 75.00 a gallon or so. and can be rolled on. it is MMA so make sure its in a WELL ventilated area, as it will be an issue if not. this will set up in about 15 min. its as good as I've seen for a clear, otherwise use and epoxy paint instead of latex Transpo Industries, Inc. 20 Jones St., New Rochelle, NY 10801-6098 Tel [phone removed]
