How come the the anti-vibration engine to frame rubber bushings wear out so quickly in my Line drivers?

They get a little oil on then and then fall apart. I think you can get springs to replace them with.

This is a big issue I have with graco, we were going through 3 set a year per rider. At $28.00 per set it get expensive. There is a easy and cheap solution for this problem. You need to install a washer on a new bushing before you install it. The problem is a poor design of the motor plate. There is a sharp edge where you insert the bushing that cuts the bushing with the vibration. I will post a picture of the washer. The other big problem is the motor plate breaking. Everyone should look at their plate on the rear edge right next to the tab. Everyone of my riders have the plate broken. But they will not warranty and correct the problem. Jim

Thanks Jim, please try to post that picture or send me a picture link if you have the time. Yes, the engineering specs with the line driver bushings seems to be as pathetic at those dang 4 prong gaffe hooks on my striping machines that love to birdnest my paint hoses ("Painters" wouldn't stand for it!). But, I digress, I believe the problem with the bushings might be that they simply borrowed the same exact bushing technology used on the striping frames and installed it on the line drivers without accounting for more vibration and oil (I never seem to get oil on the bushings of my striping machines?).
