Quickbooks is pretty much the software of choice for most of us. These days they have many variations (and prices) so read the features ad choose the one that does what you think you will use. I recall one of the new versions is especially geared to using their on-line payroll & other such services (which are an extra monthly charge of course) but most of us use a "contractor" version of Quickbooks as far as I know. I also got a notice the other day that might or might not apply to you. CitiBank has bought out our local bank and in an info packet they sent last week it seems their on-line business account access will allow you to "sync" with Quickbooks to making balancing the old checking account a breeze.
