I was just at a Sherwin Williams show and they had some setup where the 9900 attatches to a cart with no engine, but the machine basically sell propells so you can use it like a LL or LD. Everything is controled by buttons not by foot peddles. Opinions anyone?

Total agreement with jpanz: Useless, stupid, one of the dumbest ideas Titan ever had, etc... As I told them in Vegas, make a deal with Lazy Liner to "private brand" some units for you as PowrDrivers or something and sell them as your own & throw that piece of crap self-propelled away. But like that thread discussed at length, they never listen to stripers because the almighty TITAN knows more than we do. Shame they bough Speeflo, they were a "down home" Texas company and would have probably done well had they stayed in.

The worst problem with this machine is that your pivot point( rear wheels) are the drive wheels. So now when you back up and turn you are fighting against the hydraulic motor while you are turning. Not easy or fun. Jim

I can understand what JPanz is saying. On a LazyLiner or LineDriver, you don't even have to think about it. If you are used to pushing up to a curb, it will take you 2 minutes to learn to us it.

It would be nice to find a Titan guy to get on here and explain some of their thinking. I still dont understand the 12 gal paint hopper? and this seat on wheels looks to be even worse. But for a guy that didn't know anything else about their machines, they do look cool from the outside..just not practicle.. No offense Titan users

that 12 gal hopper is useless for holding that amount of paint in it, tried it once, go over a bump and it's spilling out. The machines are good machines (pumps), well I have never had a problem with them but as cormac points out, the heavier the pump i.e 8900 & 9900 they don't seem to adjust the cart to suit the balance.

Asphaltman, the whole problem with titanis they think their equipment is perfect and does not need to be changed. Steve T. a sale rep from Titan was on the board about a year ago and has been heard from again. They will tell the their reason why there machine is the best, but cant explain why they are not that practical. Jim

I agree totally. Can you imagine backing up (or trying that is) especially with that sled monstrosity attached? They need to get out in the real world and stripe a few lots. This kind of thinking is exactly why Graco is kicking their butts.

When I asked about the 12 gallon tank, I was told you could have alittle still int the tank, and still fill with 2- 5 gallon pails. They also claimed that you could still "push" a machine with a full 12 gallons. Mike In-Line
