OK,for you guys that use latex, what is the temperature at which you start using oil based and how cold can it be when you use oil based. Also, how many easy ways are there to keep your paint warm while you are striping?I have used latex when it was like 35 outside, but it didnt go through the machine as well as usual.

I have used latex in temps down to about 25 deg F. It was sunny and no wind so the surface of the asphalt was not as cold as the air temp. When you are spraying latex in these conditions, you WILL experience difficulties. You will have to switch to a larger tip and probably increase pressure to get the paint to go through the tip.
