Guys, maybe you can help me out.Im starting out this year on a bad note.I got my signs and posts in today.First of all,I wanted SOLID 2x2 square posts and they sent proliferated ones(holes down each side. Then, not only were the handicap signs the wrong ones, they were the ones I specifically told the salesman I did not want.Im in Tennessee. Can you guys point me in the direction of a good, cheap sign and post company who can at least get half my order right. This will be a big problem in the busy season.Thanks.

This year we have installed more signs and poles then we have in the last 4 years, we use the 2 3/8 round pole 8 or 10 foot long we get them at are local fence Co. cost about 10.00 each you can also get them at home depot for 15.00 each and our signs are the standard 12 X 18 a company here in town has them for 12.00 each you can buy 1 or 100 for that price. and on our ballards that have a post in the center we use a 6 inch ballard with a u shape post drill holes to match the sign, also get them at home depot for around 4.00 each.
It sounds good if I make the leap. I am striping for a new asphalt contractor that does 6-7 million a year. He has jobs that require all or some thermoplastic. That is the reason I am considering it. The preformed is too expensive so I am looking at a walk behind melter applicator. I am supposed to be getting a demo on one sometime soon.
Well,if you ever need anything, let me know.A company that does 6-7 million a year, thats a nice one to land.Good job.Like I said,if you ever need anything or need signs or wheelstops installed, let me know.I will throw anything I cant get to your way.I have been running into some sealcoating, which as you well know runs hand in hand with striping. But,I dont sealcoat and I dont like giving the work to another company that gives mine nothing in return, know what I mean.A means to an end I guess. My # is on my website, give me a call sometime.Good luck this year.Oh,I was just curious, how do you do long centerlines by yourself??
