a friend of mine gave me some contacts to phone about work, large type management companies. they said to fax over a 1 sheeter and that they put that in a generic folder and call contractors as necessary. i havent had to make one of these yet, was curious if anyone could offer any examples to go by. i assume nobody puts a price list on these types of things, so im curious as to what to do with it.

All of your company information. List of services Your website Your cell phone number I would keep it as short and simple as possible. I hate the "one sheeters" They just seem like something that makes it in the trash but you will be surprised. A year from now you will get a call from someone you never expected who was digging through a folder and found your info.

Many management companies load the info into their computer files so that the property managers can do keyword searches for services. Many I have spoken with tell me after finding me in the search it was the good feedback comments that prompted them to call. I try to mention ALL services offered and list them in all the ways I have heard them mentioned. EXAMPLE: Asphalt sealcoating, Asphalt sealing, Blacktop, brewer coat. All mean the same thing but cover various keywords, I can explain this to them after I get their call. The key is getting the call.
