Theives

June 2, 2016. I went to my shop this morning to do a little weed control and, some thieves had stolen my Ford F250, A Hotsy trailer mounted pressure washer (12 hrs) and a tandem axle trailer. Also two other trailers that belonged to someone else. Earlier this month I discovered that someone had been forging checks for several thousand dollars from my business. That person has a court date this month. No matter how good a person you try to be, there is always going to be someone that will make you question yourself and your trust in people. Disloyalty and dishonesty has reared its ugly head several times since I opened my business years ago but, karma has always won in the end. No way will I give up. When I decide to close my business, it will be on my own terms.

Damm Rock, sorry to hear that. Hope you get your equipment back. That's as lowlife as it gets.

Rock, do you have a wood shed?

sorry to hear Rock. I wouldn't take it personally, this is fairly common. I don't know a contractor that hasn't experienced theft of one degree or another. From former employees to family, I've heard it all.

Anyone use a tracking devise? One of my guys said they sell them for cheap at Walmart. I have also looked at the ones at Verizon but they are 10-15 bucks a month which adds up if you but them in all the trucks and trailers

Can you buy a new truck or trailer for 10 or 15 bucks a month?

I wish I had had a tracking device. My truck had over a thousand dollars worth of stencils in the bed. Insurance does not cover anything that didn't come on the truck.
