Hey does anyone have any experience removing thermoplastic lines? I have about 900 to remove. Should I ues a traffic line remover or a scarifier? Any tips would be much appreciated. Thanks, Gerzie

Wow... hope you have a mega-scarifier. Thermo really likes to stay in place. If it is fairly new thermo, you will definitely need a powerful machine with either carbide cutters or a carbide milling head. You could always heat it with a torch and use a straight hoe to remove a lot if it. Also go to www.ranjos.com and check out their removal video.

Smith Mfg ...carbidecutters.com.... have some really innovative stuff that will remove it before you can say don't do it.

You can heat it with a torch and scrape off most of it...

We have good luck with an EDCO TLR7. If you have a Bobcat and $22,000.00, SASE makes a contraption that also does a good job.

The Edco website says to use the 24 bits per ball for Thermoplastic? Curleypainter, have you had success with the 48? How long does it take to one 18' line?
