Stripers Prayer May the sun rise up to meet me in the morning And when the rain drowns out my plans May I take it as a sign that I have a loving family that I need to spend some time May I give to those in need and receive your great return As the widow’s flour multiplied, may my bucket never yearn May I always represent you, Lord in everything I do And show how it would be if doing business with you In the mist of quiet night fall, in the middle of a lot Give me courage to greet the stranger with a smile and open heart As I walk the striper’s path may my feet be ever swift As I meditate on my Savior and his everlasting gift When the heat beats down upon me with unrelenting force May you provide a cloud for shade and keep me on the course And when I get discouraged and need a helping hand Remind me of my future and Remind me of your plan “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, Plans to give you hope and a future.”  Jeremiah 29:11
