Why don't I listen to "the critcs" Usually when they rave, I find the film disgusting.....i.e. Something about Mary. To listen to critics, you'd think that Rode His Back Mountain was the best flick of the century. And now, "The World's Fastest Indian" barely gets passing marks. You can't even find it at most theaters. We had to search the DFW metroplex to find one of two locations it was showing. What a great movie!!!...

Film critics are like politicians, always think just the opposite of what they say and you will never go wrong. They also said that Serenity was crap, but I liked it.

Yep, we have a rule, if the critics love it...we wait for TV...if they hate it, it's probably worth a look

My bad, spelled it wrong. Did you get the series too? I thought it had potential, too bad it got cut so soon.

Hey Ken! Did ya like 'Capote'?....could be a theme going on here.... I'm going to have to see Brokeback Mountain, just because the screenplay was written by one of my favorite TEXANS , an obscure writer named Larry McMurtry, whose son, James, happens to be one of my favorite singer/songwriters.

Haven't seen Capote yet but would like to. Just watched "The Green Mile" on DVD.... thought it was great but not as good as Worlds Fastest Indian.

I'm thinking July the 4th weekend. Any suggestions will be considered. This time I'm thinking we'll have another "Sneaky Pete's" gathering on Saturday the 1st. I'll take care of all the food and most of the drinks. Then, whomever is able and wishes, we'll re-gather at a camp site at Lake Ray Roberts where we'll have at least one motor home already set up. The more I think about actually camping out, the funner it sounds. In case you weren't around this time last year check out http://parkinglotplanet.com/photos/thumbnails.php?album=6 Oh yeah... Wendy and Donna are planning attending (over from NZ) again!!!! Guaranteed party wherever they are!!!
