Thought I felt a little wiggle earlier tonight (2:20am) on the interstate, a couple seconds later the rear drivers side tire came off the rim completely, gone bye bye who knows where! Then the spare was flat... then I decided (expletive) with it and drove on the rim to the shop.

Ive heard Ken doesnt need all his tires either! He's the man!
I once had a trailer hub disintegrate and the passenger side trailer wheel passed me bouncing at 65 mph. I was on a wide but rural stretch of highway. That thing went so far it took 3 hours to find the tire & wheel which had bounced over a rancher's fence then over a 8' berm designed to channel water runoff from the field. The whole time I was searching (I had seen the no trespassing signs and around here some people are "gun serious" about that) I was hoping there was nobody at that house way in the distance with a 30.06. Needless to say that was about 1991 and after that wheel bearings were always maintained very regularly! Then there was the time a wild turkey (no jokes about booze, the animal) actually came up from the high grass along side a 4 lane divided highway, through the windshield & into the lap of a dump truck driver...that poor guy was still shaking a half hour later when another guy drove it on into the shop sans windshield (and with the turkey in the back because they all KNEW I was never going to believe that one...but I guess that's a whole other story.
I was coming back from an out of town job one Saturday night about 2AM. About 40 miles out of town I spotted a vehicle trailing sparks. Took me a while to catch up to the traveling fireworks display. It turned out to be a van with a racecar on a trailer, minus one of the four trailer tires. He was running about 60 and didn't care to stop and examine the damage. I think the guy had finished his race at the local speedway, had several beers (too many) in the pits and when the tire came off, he just said #@%* it and kept on keeping on...I bet he regretted that decision the next day....it was a spectacular display for about 30 miles....
We had a kid working with us one year, the boss let him borrow his bid running car to drive from the jobsite back to the shop to get his lunch cooler etc. More than enough time had passed to get there and back, finally he shows up in his own car. I ask him what the ? and where is the boss mans Caprice? He tells me "something" fell off a semi truck and hit the windshield so he left it back at the shop, so now I get on the phone and tell the boss he better get back to the job with the company truck and find out what is going on. In the meantime the guy goes out and gets the Caprice, when he returns with the thing I could not believe he even lived thru it. It had a turkey sized hole in the windshield, sans turkey, or anything else for that matter! I call the boss, he doesn't get it right away and is yelling to send him out to the scene of the accident to meet the hi way patrol, the guy freaks and refuses to go out there, he eventually did go and they never did find the mystery item or any witnesses! I could go on, but it is sooo unnecessary, I always wondered what he plowed with the car!
