I am thinking of buying a line driver, I have three titan machines, so I was thinking of going with another. Do these line drivers work good on inclines up and down.? How long are the drivers good for and what kind of maintenance do you need to do to keep them working straight. What other things do I need to be aware of when first getting on one?

"Do these line drivers work good on inclines up and down.?" --They work extremely well on grades. "How long are the drivers good for..." --I'm partial to LazyLiners, both LLI's and LL2's. (Fineline Industries 877- 638-2111) The LL1's have some parts that wear. The LL2's are bullet proof. "what kind of maintenance do you need to do to keep them working straight." --Nothing. You will stripe straighter/easier with a pusher machine regardles of whether it is a Line Driver or LazyLiner.. "What other things do I need to be aware of when first getting on one?" --You are losing lots of money for every day you don't have at least one.

We bought a Graco Line driver last year. We are so impressed by the time it saves and how well it performs. I just purchased another one this past spring. The only maintenance that I have done on it is routine oil changes. EXCELLENT MACHINE! Dan N.J.

Plan on buying more than one once you get use to it. Jim

A "pusher" is the only piece of striping related equipment that never has had any negative feedback from anyone who has used one. (Unless you count such things as gaining a few inches around the waist.)

I have a few thing I would complain about the linedriver don't get me wrong it is a (expletive) of a good tool but no motor protection on the back .But that f.en muffler stick out in the open with out a guard someone could get burn bad. Motor mounts don't seem right .what's with the hardwere

Jpanz is right.. you will buy more if you have more people striping. I don't think I would stripe anymore if I couldn't use a lazyliner. My only complaint is the speed of the new lazyliners. I have an original and it runs circles around the new ones. Not in quality, only in raw speed. I guess you give up speed for torque. If someone outhere has both, is there a difference in the speed of new lazyliners and linedrivers?

WeI have both LL1's and LL2. I like the LL1 almost as much w respect to operation. The LL2 is much smoother but slower. Don't own a LineDriver but think the only differences are 1) the trailer hitch/motor guard on the back of the LL2 and 2) it has electric start. Not sure if electric start is now available on Gracos. Electric start is VERY important (even though Hondas start with one pull). When you start a machine 40 or 50 times a day....thats a lot of rope pulling. Plus, you can stop (when the phone rings), kill the motor then start it again without having to get off and back on the machine. I have 3 LL1's we converted to electric start. Well worth the effort and investment if you are still using the old pull start LL1.. BTW I have an old Honda vert shaft motor from a converted LL1 still in good shape if you need one. For free, just pay shipping.

On one of our lazyliners doesn't have an electric start so instead of getting off the machine you can fix the rope cover so the pulley is facing you... so you don't have to get off the machine to start it. That if you've long arms, some thing I've not got.. tut...I've had a go on Kens earlier models ( lazyliners of course!!!) and they are faster...Any way Ken being our Ken showed me a secret while I was over there he never ever blows his tires up! I asked him why and he told me that they are Muslim tires and they blow them selves up! He's a clever man Ken! He then went on to tell me about his muslim rubber dolly he's invented... thats another story hehehe
