The short answer: We normally use our regular Ennis solvent striping paint and cover it with Sherwin Williams Rexthane Amorseal clear coat. The prep will depend on the condition of the pavement. It will have to be at least dust and oil free. It may need etching, scarifying or other method to insure proper adhesion.

Here is something I learned years ago...... If you put down the clear sealer first, then stripe, then seal again over the top, the paint won't peel up prematurely which is what paint normally does on hardened concrete.

I would imagine this only works when you start with bare concrete and probably would not work with wore out or faded stripes already there ?
