I've got a rather large shopping center coming up soon. An acquaintance in the business and I have discussed working together on larger jobs, but the question is how to compensate each other. Is there anyone out there who has experienced this? If so, what kind of monetary arrangement did you use? Any thoughts and/or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

in my case (and i am small), but i have a friend who stripes also (and taught me basically all i know) on jobs that are beyond me and big, we will hook up(he is pretty much doing me the favor), basically split everything down the middle..(.expenses and job)...works for me and he is nice enough to help me out and get some extra action, i do it quite often.........

If you don't just split it down the middle.(Maybe you're by yourself and he's bringing a helper) make it clear up front who gets what. (maybe you also want a sales commision.)
