FYI to all in this area. Watch out for a lanky (rhymes with Yankee) man who has a persistent grin on his face and squeaks when he walks. He's probably in a white dually pulling a white tandem trailer, somewhere between Michigan and Texas and is on a mercy mission to Denton. Watch out as he is not as accustomed to driving on unfrozen pavement. Yep, RandyV is headed this way agin to help keep my head above water. The problem started 2 months ago when I decided I needed a break albeit a long weekend (Thanksgiving holidays). With that in mind and assuming our work load would hopefully be slow, I also scheduled an overdue hiatal surgery for 2 weeks prior to Thanksgiving. As it turns out, recovery from the surgery isn't as rapid as I'd thought (What? Am I getting old?) and work load has at least tripled. MB and I will be glad to see Randy when he gets here tomorrow PM. This note is to get the local primed for an unofficial striper's gathering possibly the following weekend after Thanksgiving. It won't be a big Jamboree but bet it will be just as fun. I've extended an invitation to Chip (Born to Stripe) and he may visit also. Stay tuned. No plans yet but will play it by ear. Anybody interested in visiting give me an e-mail and we'll find a chair for you if the gathering comes to pass.

Ken, You hit it on the head.... is one of the great things about this board,,,,, networking, exchanging ideas and helping each other out. This past summer I asked jpanz to come to Wilmington to help me on a job. I had alot of sealcoating to do and the customer wanted the parking lines completed and off the list to do. Jim came with his crew and painted about 70,000 LF of lines in a day and made me look great. So in my opinion this board works. Mike In-Line, Wilmington, DE PS - Hope all goes well with recovery.

Ain't it da truth! As a whole (especially of recent) everybody participating here wants nothing more than to help each other. A truly great bunch of people can be found here. This isn't Randy's first trip here. He saved my sanity when I was burned out a couple of years back. The circumstances bringing him here then were mild compared to the what he'd gonna find this time. Thanks Mike and to all for the well wishes.

My former Foreman, Raul moved to San Antonio this summer. He's got quite a bit of striping experience, not to mention sealcoating and cracksealing. If anyone out that way thinks they need an extra hand Maybe I can try to hook you guys up.

Speedy recovery there Ken. Now you have an excuse to set back in that easy chair after Thanksgiving dinner. "Oh honey could you braing me another beer?"

Thanks Dwan. Another downside of the surgery. The effect is much like stomach stapling. Now I CAN eat Texas chili, but only about half a cup and I'm stuffed.

Shucks! I won't be here. Randy will, though. We are making good headway. Probably won't any help but you are certainly welcome to visit. Ken
