Be sure to add your web site address in bold letters. We usually advertised under both parking lot maintenance and paving with the small in-line ads with a box around them. Found, in our area anyway, some people just look under paving and don't know there is a category for maintenance so we got an almost 50-50 split on results. Of course we later adding paving so then it was necessary but even when we just striped it worked well to be in both. Probably depends on your area, just my experiences.
Make sure you get listed under the catagory that YOU want. Most stripers get listed under Pavement & Floor Marking Services or Parking Lot Maintenance. It all depends as to the listing available in your Yellow Pages. I wanted to be listed under the Pavement & Floor ...... but the Company said they didn't have anyone else in the catagory so they stuck me under the listing of 'Pavement Contractors'. I didn't get one call for striping, but did for paving! I was furious with the company after at least 10 calls I finally got through to the right one and they refunded my money and then gave me in writing that the next listing will be the right one. Until then......... Just make sure you are comfortable with the catagory that they are putting you into. Every business phone gets one free listing in the Yellow Pages, but that is just a bold listing, anything else costs more money not included with monthly phone service for your business. Blaine
